Parker Homes

Incorporated in 1981, the City of Parker has grown from a population of 285 to 45,000 in over 25 years.

Parker just as Highlands Ranch Real Estate has thrived due to the residential and commercial expansion of the southern Denver metro area, especially within the Denver Tech Center (DTC).

The estimated median house/condo value in 2000 was roughly over $194,000, today the same properties in Parker average somewhere around $270,000.

Parker Real Estate is located in Douglas County, and is approximately 20 miles southeast of downtown Denver.

Just like other counties in the state, the Douglas County School District RE-1 is one of the state’s top performing school districts and is led by Ponderosa High School and Chaparral High School.

Parker is the 18th most populous municipality in Colorado, and there are plans in the works for further commercial expansion and the possibility of pursuing a higher education institution within the city limits, being that Arapahoe Community College is located approximately 15 miles away, and the three downtown Denver institutions, the University of Colorado at Denver, Metropolitan State College of Denver, and Denver Community College are located 20 miles away at the Auraria Campus.
