Located between Denver and Boulder off of the highway 36 corridor (20 minute drive either direction), the City and County of Broomfield is slowly becoming a prime location for home buyers, especially with the opening of the Broomfield Events Center in late 2006.

With a population over 53,000, the City of Broomfield is known for its older neighborhoods and small town atmosphere.  Broomfield is a town with rich tradition that has invested much of its resources into the city’s educational programs for all elementary schools, middle schools, and both high schools (Broomfield High School and Legacy High School).  Broomfield was once part of Boulder County, but has since funded its own government and city limits due to recent growth and development in the area.

The median household income in 2005 was $67,900, and the estimated value for a house/condo in 2005 was $255,000 up from $189,800 in 2000 (www.city-data.com).
